Is your frame supposed to work like this? I mean shouldn't the buttons redirect me to a summary frame of my choice or something? It just keeps refreshing the initial frame.

I don't get it either. Everything else is working flawlessly. But on this one thing, I am stuck for two days now :D (Well not anymore with the url solution, but still, I'd like to try state)

I built a slider for images, so this is a subsequent post, but for me, it does not contain the state

My encoding is like fc:frame:state %7B%22a%22%3A%22b%22%7D This should be {"a":"b"}. I don't know where I mess up if it works for you :D

The problem is, I don't get it on subsequent frames either. Not getting a state is also a state, so I have no problem with that. To anyone having the same problem, use fc:button:1:action "link" and fc:button:1:target "https://something/:custom-parameter/:other-custom-parameter" .

Okay, for me fc:frame:state is not working, I did it with string json, serialized as asked for in the docs. If anyone stucks here, you can use query params in your fc:frame:post_url. Works for me.

Can someone help me with fc:frame:state? The documentation is shallow, I don't get back the state in the request, only buttonIndex. Please be so kind and enlighten me :D

I realized that I need %7B%22a%22%3A1%7D so {:a 1} url-encoded, but still doesn't show up in the request.

Hello everyone! Building frames is exciting but I have a problem. I need to use state now. I tried adding <meta property="fc:frame:state" content="{`a`: `b`}"> . It shows up in frames.js, as a valid tag, but I don't see it in the request, untrusted data doesn't contain the state

Hi everyone, fresh user here wanting to build frames. Any idea how to test frames on localhost? Tried ngrok, but has a popup, so Frame Validator won't recognize it. How can I test frames without pushing out to production? 🫠
