Vitalik Butrin: Donate all Tier 2 tokens to support the Ethereum ecosystem

 Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum (ETH), has pledged to donate all of his Tier 2 tokens to support public interest in the Ethereum ecosystem or broader charitable causes.  The announcement came days after allegations that millions of Ethereum were sold for personal gain.  Buterin quickly responded to the accusations, stressing that he has not sold any Ethereum for personal gain since 2018.  He explained that his goal in funding projects is to support initiatives that he believes are important, especially where other parts of the ecosystem may not fully appreciate their value.  The announcement followed allegations that Butrin sold more than $2 million worth of Ethereum and transferred 3,000 Ethereum worth more than $8 million to a multi-signature wallet.
