Today, let's dive into our origin stories in web3—what initially drew you to crypto/blockchain? For me, it started with a conversation at a family dinner a few years ago. One of our kids (we have four teenage boys) mentioned BAYC and discussed the art sales happening onchain. In the weeks that followed, I began researching and learning about web3, including taking a few courses to get educated on NFTs and blockchain technology. One of the first transactions I completed onchain was minting a piece of artwork by @gabeweis on the native ETH chain! Now, it's your turn! covid shutdown after an incredible residency was just getting started. got a random clubhouse invite and found and nft room somehow was stoked to meet so many other artists during such a shitty time for all of us and find a little support too

I was going to build 2 mobile glass shops and a new body of work but the funding was cut a few weeks into the year at a place called the Gardenship in Kearny NJ. It was in a huge old 250k square foot industrial building with a dozen other artists from Maine and NJ. They were just recently reborn into a smaller space but able to conduct iron pours again, a big focus of the creators art practice.
