zkSync

A few other members of /zksync were discussing NFT collections so I decided to go look for one to buy. Oddly enough, I found that every collection out of the top 5 for volume of all time was heavily inflated by wash trading.

This is especially evident when the average price is 1000x higher than floor.

Thoughts?

Yeah it’s certainly an issue that we need to fix. Need to make the ecosystem more appealing to good NFT teams. But also, I think we should start to look towards NFTs with more utility than just being PFP.

Hey, saw your proposal re Treasure . That would be a good fit imo and will bring NFT and gaming communit, infra  and experience to ZKSync. They helped a lot Arbi to get attention and onboard users in their chain and Treasure is much more mature now than it was back in 2021.

We like Treasure and the community it could bring. Key will be to convince the community to also move and adopt zkSync which is something we will work on heavily if chosen

Imo the community will follow. The community bridged to Arbi to mint Smol Brains and because Arbi was pre token at that time. I can see some common themes between ZKSync now and Arbi in 2021. With aligned incentives tis could ne a great fit.
