My Twitter got hacked. Got phished on a credible looking email saying my account had been compromised. Panicked, didn't check the originating domain, and raced to change my password on the phishing site. Hacker got my credentials, added 2FA, and am locked out.

This happened to me yesterday. Luckily, I was able to check the sender first before proceeding and auto delete the mail. Honestly, they are improving which is scary🥲

Correct. I don't know how they do it, but it feels authentic, especially when you are in a hurry or rattled to change your Pw or such.
