AFD growing while left leaning parties lose seats

Linke (far left) actually won seats

For you the sadness comes from Germany moving more conservative / right?

(Trying to get an understanding, super interesting in all PoVs. Lots of friends with different opinions today)

Yeah Grüne lost a lot of credibility in the recent drama so many left voters went to Linke.

Center-right (CDU) has been in power for most of my life, now we had a period with left leaning government which failed, only to go back to even more right leaning. 

Sounds reasonable but people need to understand that AFD is openly and aggressively supporting fascist and nazi ideology. I get that they want to try the opposite now but not like this.

Grüne actually have a good shot at staying in power according to what Merz has said so far the last few weeks
