Just had a great encounter at this cafe, a group of friends chatting about Thailand. 

I couldn’t help but listen in as I was spending time there myself last year. Turns out they’re very aware of the crypto scene and I actually seen them around before! 

We chatted about the zuzalu movement and its place in the broader blockchain scene, how inaccessible it all still is. How the concept is right but the public perception is too negative. Still feels hostile and unwelcoming. NFTs and meme coins ad absurdium. But aligned technologies like bluesky and farcaster allow people to interface with it and AI definitely makes it easier as well. 

We agreed on the power of uncensorable social networks, given the censorship happening right now around the usage of LRAD at the Serbian protests. How privacy is important but it’s hard to manage everything yourself.
