haven't seen much mention of this anime in here so figured I'd drop a rec here: Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End (currently airing in the fall) it's high fantasy (dragons, elves, magic) and about adventuring, but the uniqueness of the show is its themes of humanity🧵

The show follows Frieren, the elven mage of the Hero Party after defeating the final boss. She has lived a millennia, and seen countless deaths. But when the Hero Party passes away from old age, she realized that she had developed a deep bond with these people, but didn’t understand them at all due to her apathy.
