Here is a random take that's been occupying my brain recently:
I'm always suspicious of corporate conglomerates entering Web 3,
But I actually think Soneium, Sony's new Ethereum L2 blockchain, shows real promise.
Their launch positioning is creator-focused, with messaging focused on an open Web 3, and they are building in public so far and planning open builder and creator accelerator programs.
We'll see. It could be a failure or devolve into corporate greed and antics, as we've seen so many times with these entries.
But considering they have a Samsung Next partnership, and there is a potential for integrations with PlayStation, Sony Music and Sony Pictures,
it could be transformational for Art, Music and builders in the space if it is approached in an equitable, Web 3 native way🤞 0 reply
