Bashar bin Burd, an ancient poet who died in 784 AD, wrote a magnificent line describing war. He said: 'The war is stirred above our heads, and our swords resemble the night whose planets tumble down.' I always wondered, what does it mean to compare war to a night where its stars are falling and scattering? I asked artificial intelligence to illustrate this poetic line for me, and I was astonished by the result! https://ik.imagekit.io/lens/media-snapshot/4de185dd8fcb4fbf7fa4e0fbf07e833b96ae39ad6d08d322ff196864e60158e2.webp
