I don't know how to talk about it exactly, but I'm fascinated/perplexed by the difference between TSwift's lyrical content and the realities of the business empire for which she is the mascot (and perhaps leader but who knows).

Can’t you say this about so many artists / organisations who make it big? 

Brewdog are a UK craft beer label who gained a cult following with their ‘punk’ attitude. Now they’re a multi billion dollar corporate entity that sues licensed venues for using the word ‘punk’ in their branding… not very punk.
