Tether: Will end support for EOS and Algorand, prioritizing support for community-driven blockchains. Tether has announced a strategic shift to prioritize supporting community-driven blockchains. After careful review, Tether will stop supporting EOS and Algorand implementations. The announcement said that starting today (June 24, 2024), Tether will stop minting USDT on EOS and Algorand. Over the next 12 months, Tether will be exchanged for USDT on EOS and Algorand as usual. Further changes may be considered and announced at that time.

According to Spotonchain monitoring, 37.5 million BLUR (11.6 million USD) was just unlocked and transferred to Coinbase Prime 30 minutes ago. The above deal is part of the ongoing monthly unlock campaign starting June 2023. Over the past year, a total of 728 million BLUR (about 272 million USD) were unlocked, the majority of which were transferred to Coinbase Prime. Currently, the locked contract still holds 726.7 million BLUR ($226.48 million), which will be unlocked in the coming months.
