google's privacy sandbox debacle is concerning for many reasons, but one reason people will likely miss: privacy tokens (https://privacypass.github.io/) sadly, they were buried under the privacy sandbox sprawl & mostly forgotten

well this sent me down a rabbithole - thanks for sharing Sidenote: Haven't Cloudflare and Apple been using Private Access Tokens, which is basically an extension of this standard, at scale for a while? A lot of new topics here for me so appreciate any insight you're willing to share https://blog.cloudflare.com/privacy-pass-standard

Apple safari uses them but it's tied to your iCloud (bad) cloudflare is an issuer, but the browser has to support it
