Bands are expensive There’s not enough money in recording to sustain them And they’re too big to tour Lots of sounds / parts became electronic which reduced need for all players Social media amplified cult of the individual

Something to discuss at Farcon. @hypersub needs more attention. The model is the closest any “social” or blockchain has come to providing mutual value in both directions. And could be sustainable plus viable alternative to Kickstarter, Patreon, etc. I was checking and many, including like @danielallan have less than 2 members. There’s a big opportunity there.

It’s way too easy to get distracted right now I think. And yeah I have understanding of what it takes and roads to get there. Always open for new ones but when the roads are essentially u-turns doesn’t help
