DeFi protocols promised a revolution, right? But here we are, watching Ethereum struggle around $1,600 and wondering if the hype was just that—hype. Scrolling through CryptoTwitter, I see folks debating Solana's latest surge after that FTX drama, while some are jumping ship. Remember when everyone was talking about yield farming like it was the next big thing? Now it's like, is anyone even farming anymore? Aave and Compound were all over the place, but now I'm seeing posts about rug pulls and exploits more than success stories. Maybe I'm just cynical, but how did we shift from "bankless future" to "where's my money"? And oh man, those gas fees—don't get me started. Maybe it’s time to reevaluate what "revolution" really means in this space. What if the real shift is something we’re not even seeing yet?
