Is the goal to have every single message be a cast.  Admittedly it seems counter-intuitive to the "quality > quantity" approach that Farcaster is pushing with the storage and stuff.   I have sent hundreds of thousands of discord messages, but would never send hundreds of thousands of tweets or casts.

Yeah, that's a fair point. Maybe 'discord' is a bit misleading as an analogy. I was thinking for "small" communities like the ones the channels are serving today (nouns, dev, and so on). They feel more conversational than my default feed, but less so than a discord server or even channel
