This piece is a tribute to the iconic Chrome dinosaur game that appears when you have no data.
Back in 2015–2016, I banned myself from the internet during one of the darkest chapters of my life—multiple psychward visits, full-blown psychosis, and a meltdown I never thought I'd survive. When I felt the urge to open the internet, I'd play this game instead.
In this remix, I keyframed the dino into a trashcan—because that's what people told me my art was: trash. So I made it literal, and then I made it jump.
I added a one-minute sound edit to slow the pace—like life after the crash. Obstacles, setbacks, psych labels, and yet: I’m still here.
Is it fair use? I don't know, but it’s my story. It’s my remix.

This piece examines the volatile, exploitative landscape of the memecoin frenzy, specifically focusing on 420 tokens launched through pumpdotfun that soared to fleeting highs before collapsing. Drawing on data extracted via a Python script from Solscan’s public APIs, each jagged, vertical bar charts the entire lifecycle of a token’s market capitalization—from its speculative peak to the inevitable crash toward zero. In visualizing these extreme fluctuations, Monster exposes the chaotic interplay of greed, hype, and loss, serving as both critique and reflection of a digital era defined by unbridled speculation, where ambition and deception collide in the relentless pursuit of fleeting wealth. 8 replies
