1/4 Why "ban-hammer" is not an option (a thread).

Some theses:
- it's web3/crypto
- anybody can create a new Warpcast account
- anybody can interact with a smart contract directly

Despite we DGAF about #1 these (openness, censorship-resistance, decentralized stuff, etc.), there are some technical reasons.

3/4 The second reason is a little bit technical, but it exists.

Anyone can interact directly with a smart contract. Although we highlight the fact that if a card was bought outside of Uncuts, we cannot prevent this activity.

We aim to "deploy" Uncuts cards everywhere, even on Zora, Opensea, etc. (read marketplaces)

4/4 So when you ask to "ban" a specific user, please consider that it makes no sense.

The only thing you can do is provide feedback on everything we do in that situation.

2/4 Ok, technically, we could ban a user (just close his account and add his FID to a blacklist). 

OK, what next? What stops a user from creating a new Warpcast account and signing up again? Nothing, just pay 5 bucks, and here you go.

So, this is a reason #1 why banning a user doesn't make any sense.

I created my Uncuts card and bought some.
Personally I'm using the app to motivate myself to grow more!

1. Set the number of cards you can buy in 1 to 1.
There is no reason to buy multiple cards at once.

2. Allow a cooldown period of between 1 and 5 minutes after a single card transaction.
This will deter bad users.

If I’m alone here I’ll take the hint but half the reason I don’t play more is because I forget the url of the app. Can you please add a link to your dapp/site somewhere and pin it? For some reason I ALWAYS forget the url.
