I have some things I'd like to point out on these spam label and degen ban that's currently trending.
1. Degen rain drops- raindrop is a way of promoting casts to get farther reach and more engagements, @jacek shares casts with raindrops almost everyday and users like me that follows him see it everytime he posts it, I engage with them, even though the user (original caster) isn't following me and sometimes I don't follow them, but because it is what the casts are made for.
The caster may not see my reply, because they aren't following me, thereby making it look spammy.
2. Moxie promote- from its name you already know what it's meant for, to promote casts, and just like rain drops, it is to increase reach and engagements.
And I believe @v and other top casters on Warpcast endorse these two systems, so why the spam label on accounts doing what was endorsed by them.
Also, I see people like @tylerfoust.eth labeled spammy, someone with a popular and well doing channel (/sense).
It's unfair. 2 replies
