Next Sui? It ain’t coming. That’s what every serious chain developer is thinking — and building like they mean it. Of course, right? They’re not investors, they’re builders. Will Sui get overtaken in a few years? By who? Which team? You need insane tech skills and insane shipping speed — it’s not just about being technically superior. …But yeah, if you look at how Solana saw Sui rise, you get why people wonder. I get it — not denying that feeling. Still, there’s always a phase where things settle and adoption kicks in. Just look at how cloud services evolved. Everyone feels it, right? We wanna see the L1 Big Three era soon. And you know what? This year’s the year. Everyone’s hoping to make it happen.

Sui’s really going for dominance, especially with stuff like Walrus. The speed they’re moving at leaves no room for a “Next Sui” to pop up. That’s why they’re investing seriously in storage and even quantum-related tech. At this rate, building just a blockchain and trying to surpass Sui as an L1? That’s gonna be tough.

I don’t really know much about Web3 or smart contract development, but in the Web2 world, tools like Cursor and Cline using generative AI have seriously sped things up. Of course, they don’t always spit out 100% working code, and if the codebase is large, the results can miss the mark. But one thing’s clear — I definitely feel like I’m writing way less code myself now.
