gas bad. batteries worse. back in the 90s, buying batteries for a game system was like paying gas for onchain games. it got expensive quick. cost of game play in 2024 $ game gear $2.34/hr gameboy $0.16/hr and a part in the ultimate 10X success: game gear 11M sold gameboy 118M sold watch onchain gaming as gas drops
