Buying a really good Garmin (Fenix 6) turned me into a way better runner. The financial incentive of me having dropped more than a $1000 on a watch forced me to run when I didn’t want to. Plus the quality of data/functionality had me running deep in the wilderness bc I knew I couldn’t get lost.
