Binance assists BtcTurk attack probe, freezes $5.3M in 'stolen funds'. Cryptocurrency exchange Binance is allegedly assisting in investigating a malicious attack against Turkish crypto exchange BtcTurk, with over $5 million in stolen funds frozen at this stage, according to Binance CEO Richard Teng. “Binance is assisting BtcTurk with investigations and have frozen over $5.3M in stolen funds so far,” Teng wrote in a June 22 X post.

Crypto Biz: Riot Platforms and Bitfarms dispute escalates. The dispute’s backdrop includes significant internal friction within Bitfarms. Since May, the company has been dealing with the fallout of firing its CEO, Geoffrey Morphy, who sued the firm for breach of contract, wrongful dismissal and damages, demanding $27 million. The dispute between the companies seems distant from resolution.
