Play to earn airdrops are out in full force. But there seems a move to go back to play to earn gameplay as core economy as well. A bad idea IMO. There are more sustainable economies we should be exploring to forge token communities into game communities.

Like memecoins, a gamecoin binds the community together across the ecosystem as an expression of fandom while having utility in the games and other IP experiences in the franchise. No more grinding without being rewarded - but also no more grinding without caring.
