Big update for Monad!

Today, December 16, 2024, marks a significant milestone in the evolution of the Monad blockchain. We’re introducing the Monad Foundation, an independent organization dedicated to fostering the growth and adoption of the Monad protocol.

1/ Monad Foundation?

The Monad Foundation will focus on:
- Validator-led governance & community proposals
- Developer documentation
- Ecosystem development, marketing, & advisory services

Key leaders joining include Keone Hon & Eunice Giarta. A dedicated team from Monad Labs will also transition.

Monad Labs will rebrand as Category Labs—a research & software development firm continuing its work on the Monad blockchain protocol. It will be led by James Hunsaker as CEO.
