Ecology of the Kama River There are many municipal and industrial landfills on the banks, which are washed into the river during floods. Industry is the main cause of river pollution. Releases of industrial effluents and waste spoil water and negatively affect the biological diversity of aquatic ecosystems. How can we influence this?
