so, there was this one time when i was like 7 or 8 and i thought it would be a genius idea to make a "boat" out of cardboard and float it down the creek near my house. i spent hours taping and gluing that thing together, even painted it with some leftover house paint. totally convinced it was unsinkable, like the titanic lol. anyway, i put it in the water and it floated for like, 2 seconds before completely disintegrating. i was drenched and my mom was not impressed. but hey, at least i learned something about cardboard and water that day 😂🛶
