Weird wake fact: Red Dead Redemption turned me onto the satisfying sound of horse hooves on wooden bridges in open world games. A seemingly unimportant sound effect that, for me, reveals much about that world.

This comes up often in gaming: there are many virtual horses, many more virtual bridges, and they often meet.

And when good meets board, I listen.
