as someone building on Degen Chain, this is obviously a frustrating situation 

but

it is what it is

I got into crypto because of my fundamental support for the principles of decentralization, and that's why I'm still a Bitcoin maxi

but I also like messing around with all of the experiments people do in the space, most of them extremely centralized, and I knew from the jump Degen Chain was not decentralized

this situation is the risk you take when you sign up for that

whatever path Degen Chain ends up taking though, poidh will be along for the ride, even if that means a hard restart of the chain and redeploying our contracts + manually updating account histories
