Elon Musk has suggested putting the entire U.S. treasury on the blockchain to make the spending of taxpayer dollars completely transparent. If this happens, the blockchain industry could easily grow 100x. with blockchain, every transaction would be fully traceable—where the money comes from and where it goes.
