Might not be intuitive when you have larger networks in mind, but this is very easy to see once you think about it Let’s say you have two platforms: -> 10 people, 10 topics, each talking about a different topic vs -> 10 people talking about 1 topic Which one is more likely to become a network of 100 people (10 topics x 10 ppl each)? The second one, simply because they are much more likely to stick around
