How do you stop a man with - half a trillion dollars. - his own satellite internet network, capable of starting and ending wars. - his own rockets and satellites. - himself a media behemoth - “I am the media now” he means to say, not X - with access to hundreds of millions of people every day, - with full control of the world’s most powerful country’s president and even more… …how do you stop such a force from disrupting your political process as a country? Has the world ever seen a more powerful - supposedly private citizen?

Most powerful human ever on Earth so far IMO. Which is very sad for humanity... And I think people are still underestimating him. Starlink V2 and Starship are pivotal technologies for humanity, massive game changers and all under the control of one Oligarch.

I guess we have to be thankful that Starlink and Starship are peaceful* civilian tech (* although Musk can change the face of conflicts by enabling or denying access to satcom and imagery to either belligerent). However, there’s also a low technological barrier to repurposing that same tech for offensive capabilities. Once you can cheaply, quickly, and reliably lift payloads into orbit, you gain space supremacy the same way that cheap, quick, and reliable aircraft used to ensure aerial supremacy. Now that’s an interesting prospect
