ah yes 9/11, an event i literally had absolutely no involvement in but got crucified over&over for a decade straight for it lmao ah the core memories of my hijabi mother being denied service in front of my face while having a baker call my family terrorists <3 ah yes, when i was banned from taking advanced graphic design by a teacher who stared me down every 9/11 like it was my fault while also trying to gaslight me every class into thinking i had absolutely 0 talent in design. ah yes, my fifth grade teacher telling me i will never be an american or speak proper english because im a foreigner and will always be an outsider while always giving me a look of disgust ah yes, when kids would throw stuff at me on 9/11 because i was the closest thing to “osama bin laden” ah yes when teachers would laugh with the group of kids calling me a terrorist and not do anything about it ever aww the core memory of being told i should bomb myself so frequently i tried to take my life at dangerously young age

I'm very sorry you endured all that BS. How the government/ warmongers used it to drive cultural divides and discrimination in order to provide political cover for their wars for oil... Disgusting. Glad you are here ❤️
