Trump issued an executive order attempting to end the right of transgender Americans to get healthcare. It also defines 18 year olds as children unable to make their own medical decisions, which also seems like a big problem itself. I read through the order and while a lot of people are saying "Trump banned gender affirming care" that's not exactly what it says. Gender affirming care includes things like Viagra and hair implants and those are not under attack by Trump. It is specifically only gender affirming care for trans people that's under attack, cis people are still allowed to continue their healthcare. This makes trans people second class citizens in the USA which is very sad and a continuation of the acceleration of the USA into fascist authoritarianism. The order is full of moral attacks against trans people and their families and healthcare providers. "Barbaric" "mutilation" and terms like that. 1/2 https://x.com/TrumpDailyPosts/status/1884391517134995659?t=NhSaoDKB9oPkHmP6U0NAjQ&s=19

If someone is an adult and wants to make the decision to do this to themselves that's one thing. Doing it to children that aren't old enough to make life altering decisions, and could regret it later is another. I support this decision.

You don't seem to understand how this works. Trans kids get medical care recommended by their doctors based on medical research. Parents aren't "doing this" to their kids. Would you ban cancer treatment for children? Do you know better than all doctors and medical researchers?
