Hearing the progressive commentators I usually listen to offer their hysterical takes on the proposed Bitcoin strategic reserve is so painful They are correct that the only reason this is being considered is because of political donations from the crypto industry, but everything else they're saying is pure Crypto Derangement Syndrome No, SBF being a fraud doesn't prove the whole industry is a scam No, the main use case aside from speculation is not money laundering and fraud No, a Bitcoin strategic reserve doesn't mean the government would control the Bitcoin network (or vice versa) No, this isn't a "bailout" for crypto billionaires -- is the gold reserve a bailout for billionaires who own gold? Most of their arguments are pretty ridiculous and showcase a shocking lack of basic education about what crypto is (and the differences between Bitcoin and the many other crypto assets)

Yeah same it almost makes me want to podcast on YT or something to try and work on it but it's just not my thing, I don't have time. At least the Green Party campaign manager said they'd consider talking to Vitalik or looking into having a discussion about it but they just didn't have any time for it. We have to connect it with the whole picture of issues and solutions for it to be interesting for them.
