Why is this "ethereum conference locations suck" discourse I've seen a few times on the other app completely ignoring that devcon is going to be in thailand? Also EDCON in Tokyo end of Jul.

There will always be some people who complain. I hope more conferences go online-first or focus on broadly inclusive digital participation. Most people who can fly to a conference are wealthy or sponsored, neither available to most people.
