Composting is probably the most difficult topic for eco-activists. But if you can hand over food waste in your city, or you have a garden outside the city where waste can rot, then here's a little life hack for you: accumulate food waste in the freezer. No flies, no unpleasant smell, no complications. When I have time, I grind the waste in a blender, so it takes up much less space. 
And yes, I love frozen Kit-Kat, you should definitely try it!
