Yeah. If I have to go compress my photos just to post them here… that’s some serious friction in and of itself. But like you said, also signals that artists are kind of an after thought on this platform.

Thanks! Yeah I’m trying to figure out a good way to combine some of my great grandparents photos with my own in this book. That I think will also document my own grandparents in some kind of way? However I settle on it, it’ll definitely be a lot more personal and vulnerable than my previous books which is fun and intimidating all at once haha. Still gotta make a few more trips down there for it to feel “complete” though I think. Would love to go during monsoon season and the heat of the summer.

Oh yeah! Am lowkey hoping to do another one of my small town photo books about Quartzite. My grandparents (and their parents before them) snowbird down there and the boondockers and flea markets and stuff are super fun haha. #1 is one of mine, #2 is from my great grandparents
