I find this frustrating as well, along with poor image quality. It seems to be a low priority which doesn't work well for artists here.

Yeah. If I have to go compress my photos just to post them here… that’s some serious friction in and of itself. But like you said, also signals that artists are kind of an after thought on this platform.
