What's Etherlink? An EVM-compatible L2 on Tezos: Here's how to get XTZ onto Etherlink: Using the EVM Bridge • Visit http://t.co/LLyOHg9p1T • Bridge USDC or ETH to @etherlink • Swap to XTZ on IguanaDEX Using the Tezos Bridge • Visit http://etherlinkbridge.com/tezos-bridge • Buy XTZ for your Tezos wallet • Download Metamask and add Etherlink network • Connect both wallet addresses to the bridge • Sign the transaction • Switch to Etherlink in Metamask to see your tokens For more information check out the user guide here: https://t.co/KI88HGw8pm

You add Etherlink to an EVM-compatible wallet, like MM, but it's a tokenless L2 chain for Tezos L1, like Base is a tokenless L2 for ETH L1. Etherlink rollups will be written to the Tezos L1. If an NFT project is now released on Etherlink you need to get Tezos on the L2 (like you need to get ETH on Base), just that it seems more complicated because you need a different wallet.
