Why do you enjoy using Farcaster?

For me, it's these reasons:

- Big enough that I'm not bored & small enough that I feel part of something 
- Builder focused - smart people and alpha
- Financial rewards for participation and engagement 
- Natively embedded wallets
- No ads 
- Most interesting place in crypto imo

Why is that non crypto content gets more engagement?

There is some pseudo real consumer app tendency on this app, which rarely ends well (most likely irrelevancy)

One may build/envision long term sure, but not abandon our glorious casino altogether, as obviously, that's what brought attention in the first place

Gotta love ping pong of general consensus about token launch

Not long ago most of CT regarded Opensea not launching token in timely manner as biggest fumbles and a fatal mistake for their product

But now "Polymarket being amazing" is solely tied to a token (or rather absence of it)

Not to mention that there are 3-4 very decent alternatives to Polymarket

Sole reason for its high coverage/outreach was being established as elections odds gauge

People that spent actual "Years in crypto" are rarely "rooted in the past". Trendy things are just different flavor of the same metagame with same incentive structure behind it. 

2020 Defi summer yield farming and some food coins, then came BTC dominance run, revival of some blue chip defis like AAVE, first NFT run, some on chain crap run, alt L1 run, second NFT season now with Opensea and BAYC leading it, after L1 game cooled down then came ecosystem plays, like BSC season, AVAX season, metaverse crap etc. etc.

2017 Cycle could also be summarized in similar manner. It's basically a hot ball of money rotating between segments, and all these segments have self destructive incentive structure. 2023-4 too.

Folks with actual experience will always identify shifts between narratives better than others do. And it goes without saying certain market phenomena repeat themselves almost identically.

OGs usually do poorly when they lose motivation and get sloppy

Wonder how difficult is it to build a profile here compared to twitter/ct
