the best way we can take advantage of the recent hype cycle is working backwards on what needs the same legos, assembled differently.

Although i do think the cultural adoption of recent advances in computer science will eventually catch up, or probably we are still far from realizing the full multiplier effect?

it's pretty much a universal truth that cultural adoption lags behind technological discovery, and in the case of technologies like the Internet, we've notably compressed the cultural timeline on a global scale.

I think the cultural multiplier has yet to be realized for recent advances in computer science.
