Veridise, a blockchain security company, found that 55% of zero-knowledge (ZK) audits had critical issues, while only 27.5% of other DeFi audits had such problems.

ZK technology (which lets you prove something without revealing details) is a relatively new technology and it seems it has a lot of bugs in the code that could potentially be exploited.

Most audits found issues with faulty logic, messy code, and data checking, while ZK audits also had a unique problem (underconstrained circuits) that could let attackers exploit the system.
