Here is what I wrote when I took this for a final assignment for a photo class: For my final self-portrait, I want to use a prism and its light-bending characteristics to express and to define to others my sexuality. I want my image to convey a message of how comfortable I am in my skin, somewhat using my image as a second “coming out” to people who know me or strangers.
