I use OneNote for long term note taking, things I want to remember 10 years out

Had a bad experience with a proprietary backup not working because product shut down this week. OneNote was also being buggy and failing sync.  

Using Obsidian and writing markdown files into Dropbox felt future proof.

Another project we are working on is in this domain, being led by the women who built Qubes OS.  I'm sure she'll find this very helpful, thank you!
