it's crazy how fast i've shifted from "oh passkeys are nice" to "😡 wtf why doesn't this app support passkeys?!" passkey login is 10x better

Though true, the UI for *setting up* a passkey needs a 10x lift as well. I think breaking the username/password paradigm (or rather mental model) is larger than we think.

I did some tests with passkey only login which was great from a minimalism standpoint but early testers got confused a bit so I reverted to email + passkey at signup. The OS UX on Apple devices is confusing at this point, way too many options for users. That said, passkeys drastically improve blockchain usability.
