SpaceX’s Raptor engine is designed to be replaced rather than repaired, thanks to cost-effective mass production, which lowers the final product cost.

— “Why don’t others do this?” - because no one else is producing reusable engines on such a large scale. Competitors make single-use engines at a higher cost, requiring easy access for maintenance and repairs.

ito-en

Started in 1964 by Masanori Honjō - the innovation that Ito-En provided was that tea was previously sold in specialty tea stores in bulk. Ito-en sold these “tea packs” so it could be purchased by anyone

Honjō was a car salesman at Nissan until 1960s, then left to start Itoen with his brother, Hachiro

It was later renovated by Abbasi rulers, but in 1747 the fort slipped from their hands owing to Bahawal Khan’s preoccupations at Shikarpur. Nawab Mubarak Khan took the stronghold back in 1804.

In the 18th century, the fort was taken over by Muslim Nawabs of Bahawalpur from the Shahotra tribe.
