Move over spaghetti squash, dinner last night was zucchini noodles with angry prawns (aka spicy pan fried shrimp). 
Definitely not tricking anyone into thinking it's pasta but it IS tasty! 

It makes a big difference when you spiralize the zucchini fresh and they're pretty affordable. Added bonus is the kiddo might have fun doing it! 

Can't wait till the zucchini comes straight from the garden! A few more weeks.

there are no real noodles. it's just zucchini cut like spaghetti and cooked up like a spaghetti would be, so they call it that. zucchini tossed w olive oil, sauce, garlic ,etc. then topped w basil and parmesan cheese.
