I don’t see what this move does for #NYR. They have better internal options, IMO. If they were gonna go a PTO route, I’d rather it have been to Labanc, JVR or Pacioretty. Wasting what could be deadline cap space on a fringe NHL player if they sign him seems counter-productive.
