As staunch believers in blockchain being the expression of perfection in data accuracy, it's vexing to be unable to get perfect data.

Solana was no exception, where we often arrived at a point that people said it was "close enough". But close enough is a million miles from perfect.

Which made it especially satisfying when we got our Solana transaction exporter to its final state, where the entire history of an account (and all of it's token accounts) tie out exactly, to the last decimal, with no need for shrugging and calling it "close enough."

Let's talk if reconciling Solana is a struggle.

In working to arrive at a 100% reconcilable account history, you'd end up with a situation where there was a billion tokens transferred, but the balances were off by 0.000001.

No, that is not good enough. The data is perfect when it is created; the numbers have to tie out.
